Ruby is July’s birthstone. There is not better way to show your love but with a ruby; which is said to arouse your senses. Rubies are also said to bring wealth, wisdom, health, and success in love.

The color of the ruby is what makes it most valuable. A medium or medium dark vivid red are the best. If the ruby is too light, orange, or purple it is considered a fancy-color sapphire.

Ruby is harder than any other gemstone besides the diamond which means it is good for every day wear.
